Ditch the can and go fresh this year! This simple and saucy cranberry sauce is sure to be a new family favorite for Thanksgiving (and beyond).

Cinnamon Apple Cranberry Sauce

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

  1. Into a large saucepan over medium heat add sugar, water, cranberries and apple. Season with salt and pepper. Mix to combine.
  2. Add cinnamon stick. Reduce heat to low and simmer until cranberries soften and mixture thickens. Approximately 10-15 minutes.
  3. Discard cinnamon stick prior to serving. Refrigerate any unused portion.
