Creamy peanut butter frosting pairs well with anything chocolate or banana. For some added flair, crumble peanut butter cup candies on top.

Frosting for one 8x8-inch cake



  1. Beat together peanut butter, egg yolk and cream until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually blend in powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
  3. For layer cakes or more than 12 cupcakes, double the recipe.
