Corn Mosaic Art

Corn Mosaic Art

Description

This craft is a two-for-one. You use the same process for dying corn kernels as you do for Easter eggs. Kids love being able to pick out the colors they want to make for their mosaic art. Gel food color is preferred as it doesn't dilute as much and creates a bright and vivid dye. Use the dry corn kernels to create beautiful 3D mosaic art. Kids of all ages love doing this craft.

When prepping for this colorful craft, keep in mind you need to let the corn kernels sit for 4 hours or overnight. You can do half of this project one day, and finish it the next day - or start the project in the morning, and finishing it later in the afternoon.
