Pineapple Strawberry Swirl Fruit Pops

Ingredients

  • Simple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
  • Strawberry Layer
  • 8 oz. fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2-4 tablespoons simple syrup
  • Pineapple Layer
  • 8 oz. fresh pineapple
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2-4 tablespoons simple syrup

      Directions

      1. Heat water and sugar until sugar has completely dissolved. Cool to room temperature or can be made a day ahead and chilled in refrigerator.
      2. Puree strawberries, pineapple juice and simple syrup in blender. Place into measuring cup with spout and rinse out blender.
      3. Puree pineapple, pineapple juice and simple syrup in blender. Place into measuring cup with spout.
      4. Layer strawberry and pineapple mixtures evenly among 10 popsicle molds. If desired, swirl more with a knife or popsicle stick.
      5. Insert popsicle sticks. Freeze for 6 hours, or overnight. If needed, lightly dip popsicle mold in warm water to remove pops.
