Ingredients
- 4 cups raw halved pecans
- 1/2 cup Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Dixie Crystals Light Brown Sugar
- 1 egg white, whisked
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- In a gallon size bag, combine both sugars, egg white, and vanilla extract.
- Seal bag and squeeze with hands to combine ingredients.
- Add pecans to bag, seal and squeeze together until pecans are completely coated.
- Spread pecans onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 30 minutes, stirring and flipping pecans at the 15-minute mark.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
