Chickie Chocolate Brownie Truffles

  • Lollipop sticks
  • Yellow liquid food coloring
  • 1 package (12 oz) yellow candy melts
  • Candy eyes
  • Orange chocolate covered sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup shredded coconut

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl cream together butter and both sugars with an electric mixer until light and creamy, about 2 minutes. Add creamer and vanilla. Add flour, cocoa, and salt. Mix until combined.
  2. Use 1 tablespoon scoop to portion dough and roll into a ball. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Add coconut and a few drops of yellow food coloring to a plastic bag. Shake to combine. Pour into a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. Melt candy melts according to package directions.
  5. Insert lollipop stick into frozen dough ball. Dip into melted candy melt. Let excess drip off. Immediately roll in the coconut, pressing coconut into the candy coating. Remove from stick and place on baking sheet.
  6. Dip candy eyes and orange sunflower seeds in candy coating and press to adhere to make eyes and nose. Keep chilled until ready to serve.

  • 1/2 taza (1 barra) mantequilla, a temperatura ambiente
  • 1/2 taza Dixie Crystals Azúcar Granulada Extra Fina
  • 1/3 taza Dixie Crystals Azúcar Morena Clara
  • 2 cucharadas de crema para café con sabor a vainilla francesa
  • 1/2 cucharadita de vainilla
  • 1 taza harina todo uso*
  • 1/3 taza polvo de cacao
  • 1/4 cucharadita de sal
  •  
  • Opcional: Palitos de chupetes
  • 1 taza coco rallado
  • Colorante de comida liquido color amarillo
  • 1 paquete (12 onzas) caramelo para derretir color amarillo
  • Ojos de caramelo
  • Semillas de girasol cubiertas de chocolate anaranjado

Direcciones

  1. En un embase mediano convierta en crema la mantequilla y los dos tipos de azúcar con una batidora eléctrica hasta que esté suave y cremoso, alrededor de 2 minutos. Agregue la crema de café y la vainilla. Agregue la harina, cacao y sal. Mezcle hasta que este combinado.
  2. Usando una cuchara para medir las porciones de la masa y formar unas bolitas. Colóquelas en una bandeja de hornear forrada con papel parafinado y coloque en el congelador por 15 minutos.
  3. Agregue el coco y unas pocas gotas de colorante amarillo a una bolsa plástica. Bata bienpara combinar. Vierta en un embase pequeño. Ponga a un lado.
