Homemade Snickers Bar

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 7 oz marshmallow fluff
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Dixie Crystals Confectioners Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup dry roasted unsalted peanuts
  • 11 ounces caramel candies, unwrapped
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

    Directions

    1. Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside. 
    2. Place 1 cup of chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons of peanut butter in a heat-proof bowl. Microwave for 60 seconds and stir until smooth and combined. If needed, continue to microwave in 3-second intervals until smooth.
    3. Pour melted chocolate in prepared pan and spread evenly. Place pan in freezer for 2-3 minutes or until hardened.
    4. Meanwhile, in a clean bowl add marshmallow fluff, 1/4 cup peanut butter, and powdered sugar. With a wooden spoon or spatula stir until it forms a soft dough. (Can be done in a mixing bowl using dough hook as well.)
    5. Remove dough from bowl and press it on top of chocolate layer.
    6. Sprinkle peanuts on top, gently pressing them in. Set aside. 
    7. In a small saucepan add caramels and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat, constantly stirring until melted. Immediately pour over peanuts, spreading it all over with back of a spoon.
    8. Refrigerate for five minutes until set.
    9. In a heat-proof bowl, melt remaining chocolate chips and peanut butter. Pour over caramel layer, spreading evenly.
    10. Place pan in fridge for 10 minutes until chocolate is set.
    11. With a sharp knife, cut into bars.

    Just made these but 10 minutes in the refrigerator at the end is not enough. They were too messy. However, the next day, they were fine. Have to keep them in the refrigerator though. Really yummy!

    Love these! So easy and yummy. The marshmallow fluff centre is the perfect replica of snickers. I've made these twice now :) Thanks!

    • 1 taza de chispas de chocolate semidulce
    • 3 cucharadas de mantequilla de maní cremosa
    • 7 onzas de crema de malvaviscos
    • 1/4 de taza de mantequilla de maní cremosa
    • 1 1/2 taza de Dixie Crystals Azúcar en Polvo Confeccionar
    • 1 taza de maní tostado sin sal
    • Caramelos de 11 onzas
    • 1/4 de taza de crema espesa
    • 1 taza de chispas de chocolate semidulce
    • 3 cucharadas de mantequilla de maní cremosa

    Direcciones

    1. Forre una bandeja de hornear de 9x13 pulgadas con papel parafinado
    2. Coloque en un contenedor, a prueba de calor, 1 taza de chispas de chocolate y 3 cucharadas de mantequilla de maní. Cocinar en horno microondas por 60 segundos y batir hasta que esté suave y mezclado. Coloque en el horno microondas por más tiempo solo si es necesario.
    3. Vierta el chocolate derretido en la bandeja antes preparada y esparcir uniformemente. Coloque la bandeja en el refrigerador por 2 o 3 minutos o hasta que endurezca.
    4. Mientras tanto, en un tazón limpio ponga la crema de malvaviscos, 1/4 de taza de mantequilla de maní y la azúcar en polvo. Con una cuchara de madera o una espátula batir hasta que se forme una masa suave (Se puede hacer en una batidora eléctrica usando el gancho de hacer masa).
    5. Remueva la masa del tazón y presione con los dedos arriba de la capa de chocolate.
    6. Espolvoree maní arriba, presionándolo gentilmente.
    7. En una olla, agregue los caramelos y la crema espesa. Cocinar a temperatura media, batiéndolo constantemente hasta que se derrita. Inmediatamente vierta sobre el maní, esparciéndolo por todos lados con la parte de atrás de una cuchara.  
    8. Refrigere por 5 minutos hasta que asiente.
    9. En un tazón aprueba de calor, derrita el resto de las chispas de chocolate y la mantequilla de mani. Vierta sobre la capa de caramelo y esparcir uniformemente.
    10. Coloque la bandeja en el refrigerador por 10 minutos hasta que el chocolate asiente.
    11. Con un cuchillo afilado, corte en forma de barras.
