Kaalberg Pumpkin Bread

Products Used

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 ounces) pumpkin or 2 cups homemade pumpkin puree (my preference)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 box butterscotch pudding mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour*
  • 3 cups Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

      *Spoon & Sweep method: Use a spoon to fill measuring cup with flour until required amount is obtained. Scooping measuring cup directly into flour bag will firmly pack flour resulting in too much flour required for recipe.

      Directions

      1. In large bowl, whip eggs until frothy. Add oil and sugar. Cream together with eggs.
      2. Add remaining ingredients and mix until well blended.
      3. Pour into 2 greased bread pans. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
      4. Remove and immediately sprinkle generously with more sugar. Let cool and remove from pans.

      Loved the bread but I did tweak it a bit. I used coconut mix instead of butterscotch, I afford a little bit of Golden Syrup that I made and brown sugar! It's certainly moist and DELICIOUS!

      Pan de Calabaza Kaalberg

      Ingredientes

      • 1 lata de puré de calabaza o 2 tazas de puré hecho en la casa (16 oz)
      • 4 huevos
      • 1 taza de aceite vegetal
      • 1 caja de pudín de caramelo (butterscotch)
      • 2/3 taza de leche
      • 3 tazas de harina
      • 3 tazas de Dixie Crystals Azúcar Granulada Extra Fina
      • 1 cucharadita de bicarbonato de soda
      • 1 cucharadita de polvo de hornear
      • 1/2 cucharadita de sal
      • 4 cucharaditas de especias para pastel de calabaza

      Para cubrir

      • Use pacanas y coco para decor como desee

      *Método de cuchara y barrido: use una cuchara para llenar la taza de medir con harina hasta obtener la cantidad requerida. Si coloca la taza de medir directamente en la bolsa de harina, empacará la harina con firmeza y se necesitará demasiada harina para la receta.

      Direcciones

      1. En un tazón grande, bata los huevos hasta que queden espumosos.
      2. Añada el aceite y la azúcar. Bata junto con los huevos hasta que queden cremosos.
      3. Añada el resto de los ingredientes y mezcle bien.
      4. Vierta en dos moldes de pan engrasados. Hornee por una hora a 350°F.
      5. Remuévalo inmediatamente y espolvoree con más azúcar.  Déjelo enfriar y sáquelos de los moldes.
