- 10 - 12 fresh mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 ounces Peppermint Schnapps
- 1 1/2 ounces rum
- 4 ounces Ginger Ale
- Crushed candy canes, to garnish
- Moisten rim of glass, rim with crushed candy canes.
- In glass, muddle mint leaves, sugar and lime juice. Fill glass with ice.
- Pour Schnapps and rum over ice. Top with ginger ale. Add more crushed candy canes, if desired.
