Southern Sweet Tea dixie

Ingredients

2 cups Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
4 quarts water
4 family size tea bags

Directions

Add sugar and 2 cups water into a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring until all sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
In a separate pan, bring 1 quart water to boil over medium heat. Once boiling, remove from heat and add tea bags. Let steep for 5-6 minutes.
Remove tea bags, and pour tea into pitcher. Add 2 1/2 quarts cold water and stir. Add simple syrup to tea pitcher and stir.
Serve over ice in glasses. Add a lemon slice or a mint sprig to each serving if desired.

Ingredientes

4 bolsitas de té tamaño de familiar
2 tazas de Dixie Crystals Azúcar Granulada Extra Fina
4 curatros de agua

Direcciones

Agregue azúcar y 2 tazas de agua en una cacerola a fuego medio. Llevar a ebullición, revolviendo hasta que se disuelva todo el azúcar. Dejar de lado.
En una cacerola aparte, hierva 1 litro de agua a fuego medio.
Cuando el agua comience a hervir, retírela del fuego y coloque las bolsitas de té. Deje reposar durante 5-6 minutos.
Retire las bolsitas de té y vierta el té en la jarra. Agregue 2 1/2 cuartos de agua y revuelva. Agregue jarabe simple a la jarra de té y revuelva.
Sirva sobre hielo en vasos. Agregue una rodaja de limón o una ramita de menta a cada porción si lo desea.
