- In a saucepan, combine milk and tapioca and set aside for 10 minutes.
- Whisk in sugar. Add egg and whisk vigorously until egg is completely mixed in.
- Place over heat and whisk to a boil. Once thick bubbles have formed, and mixture is visibly boiling remove from heat.
- Add vanilla extract and pour into serving ware.
- Consume warm or cold.
- If desired add fruit of choice.
