Gerry started his blog when he became a stay-at-home dad to two amazing kids. "They can be my biggest critics, but usually, they love what they get to eat in the kitchen (if they don’t, then tough luck – I’m the boss)." His background mostly involves desserts and pastry, "but alas, we can’t just eat that every day so I do cook 'regular' food also. To me, food shouldn’t be like rocket science – it should be simple, fresh and easy to prepare. I love spicy dishes and would secretly like to challenge Adam Richman of Man vs Food to a hot throw down. Bring it Adam!"
This topping was best when warm and would be great on almost anything, including ice cream!
This is perfect for a hot summer day. It has just the right amount of alcohol in it without being overpowering.
This is the most authentic arroz con leche I've tasted. Creamy with a great flavor. My kids loved it!
These are way too addictive and can be eaten as is. They'd also be great on top of a salad!
I could have drunk two pitchers of this! I can't wait to start making it when fall comes around. It'd be great for taking in a thermos to parades and outdoor events when it's chilly.
I love chewy meringues, so these were my kind. A little crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy inside.
