Tasted like a blueberry muffin should. Soft and moist with lots of blueberries. Agree with the other reviewer that they aren't overly sweet, but I prefer them that way. It just depends on your taste preference. I tossed the blueberries with a tablespoon of flour before mixing them to keep the berries from sinking to the bottom of the batter.
The “famous Disney “ muffins made me want to try this recipe. After baking, I’m convinced Disney left some of their recipe a secret. They did not brown well, were not sweet enough (although I assume healthier for this), and were overall bland. In contrast, I have an old Imperial Sugar recipe torn from a magazine page dating back to the 70s for Peach Muffins Imperial. This recipe is awesome, imo. Next time I will use this recipe and substitute blueberries for the peaches.
